1:00 pm- 4:45 pm. Alcatraz. Re-Shaping Identity on the Rock seeks to reflect on the ways that identity can be forced onto individuals by outside groups, or be self-defined from within. Walk around the island and learn about its lesser known historical occupants before ending with a visit to Future IDs, a special art exhibit made by formerly and currently incarcerated men and women. Educators are invited to join in.
