Roy’s Redwoods Open Space Preserve, a project underway by the county with support from One Tam. Last Wednesday, the project’s design team updated residents on the design alternatives, which aim to provide a more immersive visitor experience while enhancing the forest’s ecological health, and in particular, its stream flows.

The recent events in Gilroy, Dayton and El Paso have left many of us shocked and saddened. The Gilroy incident, just days before, had similarly affected many of us. Exciting things are happening at Crissy Field and the Presidio! This summer and fall, there will be some road closures and detours as important projects at the Presidio Tunnel Tops and Quartermaster Reach come to fruition. This flyer outlines the timelines, closures, and more information on each of the projects. Make sure to stay alert, stay safe, and share this excitement with park visitors!

Roving Ranger is in need of support staff at upcoming events in August! The Roving Ranger is always happy to train new drivers and/or crew, so please contact Matt Noreika (mnoreika@parksconservancy.org) know if you or your colleagues are interested in driving or staffing the truck. 

From basic manners to cultural differences, it's difficult to succeed without a certain awareness of etiquette in the workplace. During this session, the webinar will identify common pitfalls and show you how to avoid them. It will also review strategies to help you shine and leave a lasting impression.
