Nominations for FY 2019 will be accepted until September 27, 2019.
The Golden Gate National Parks Bridge Award was established to recognize cooperative achievements between Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy staff that have strengthened the partnership between the two organizations, benefited the visitor experience or preserved our natural and cultural resources in a lasting and meaningful way.
This year we're looking for those "Hidden Gems" - people that embody this spirit but could be behind the scenes doing great work. Everyone who is nominated will be recognized at our Employee Appreciation Party!
Individual or team nominations can be submitted on the attached form to bridgeaward@parksconservancy.org
And save the date for the Employee Appreciation Party on October 31 from 1pm - 3pm

September 25, 8am- 5pm
Fort Mason The Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course will help you prepare for the unexpected. This fast paced, hands-on training is designed to meet the needs of trip leaders, camp staff, outdoor enthusiasts and individuals working in remote locations. It will introduce you to caring for people who become ill or injured far from definitive medical care. Classroom lectures and demonstrations are combined with realistic scenarios where mock patients will challenge you to integrate your learning. At the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge, skills and ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Taught by seasoned instructors in a two-day format. Learning takes place both in the classroom and in outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions. Come prepared for wet, muddy, cold or hot environments.
You must sign-up for both days of the training to complete the certification.
