The new and improved Training Portal is launching May 26! This resource will support online learning, including scheduled (live) and on-demand content. You'll also find trainings hosted through Park Academy, Human Resources, Park Youth Collaborative, and our park partners. Onboarding training is required in order to get set up with your new portal account.

The prospect of solitary confinement and isolation can be daunting and for many people, the concept of limited social connection can be overwhelming. This session will equip attendees with the knowledge and strategies to cope during this time and find new ways to form a connection with others in a virtual world. Using Nature to Build Resilience from Childhood Trauma (course run time: 70 minutes)
In this course, you’ll learn about the science of toxic stress, adverse childhood experiences, potential triggers in your park, and how to use a trauma-informed approach when leading park programs.
