The Data Team is excited to launch departmental group chats! This new function allows users to easily communicate with everyone in their department in one shared online space.

There is a SharePoint page that will keep you up-to-date on which departments have group chats implemented. It also links to Chats tutorial and the presentation from the All Staff meeting, "Teams Channel Annoucement." We want your perspective! An important part of the Parks Conservancy's strategic sprint process is to hear staff perspectives--through your responses to this survey, and, over the weeks ahead, through focus groups. With this survey, we hope you will think about what’s happening around us – both the opportunities and the challenges.

The Sierra Club recently distanced itself from the racist beliefs held by John Muir and others in his circle. So, what about Muir Woods National Monument? We have long wrestled with a complicated history there.

Peregrine falcons, the fastest animals in the world, were removed from the endangered species list in 1999 in a major conservation success story. Now, a peregrine pair on Alcatraz has done something we haven’t seen in recorded history.
