Beginning September 21, Golden Gate National Recreation Area will begin annual wildland fuel reduction and habitat improvement activities at the Rancho Corral de Tierra unit in San Mateo county.

Kaiser Permanente and Blue Shield members are eligible for a no-cost flu shot this season. Many locations have drive-thru and walk-in flu shot clinics.

On Sept. 4, staff from NPS, SF Zoo, and Parks Conservancy gathered at Rodeo Valley to release 34 western pond turtles into the water. See cute photos and read more about the release on our website.

Join us in October for the One Tam Virtual Summit on Climate. We’ll explore topics like climate change impacts in Marin, the work of One Tam and others to address them, intersections with public health and equity, the 2020 fire season affecting the Bay Area, and more.

The summit will be be five online sessions, held every Thursday morning in October, 9 am-noon.
