New & Updated Policies for the Election
The Executive Team has approved a one-time extension of paid time off for voting, up to 4 hours, to eligible staff. Work with your supervisor or manager at least 2 days prior to election day to schedule. In addition, staff who volunteer as election officials may get up to eight hours of paid work. We’ll discuss the different types of voter suppression and then focus on voter harassment and intimidation. You’ll learn what to look for and the positive impact that bystander intervention has on individuals and communities and leave feeling more confident intervening the next time you see voter harassment at the polls.
