The Parks Conservancy was among 5 Bay Area non-profits to be awarded Blaisdell Business Product's 2020 Non-profit Choice Award. The awards were nominated by customers to recognize local organizations who have stepped up to serve the demanding needs of children and families during the pandemic.
The Parks Conservancy was nominated by former intern, Alisa Kim who now works at East Bay Regional Park District. At the beginning of December, Blaisdell's compiled the nominations onto an anonymous ballot that was given to all their employees for final voting at the end of the year. The final five winners were awarded a $1,000 donation to assist them with their mission.
