PARK PIC OF THE WEEK
Photo by: Brian Teng, Operations Manager
"Getting started as a plant is a lot of work," as Brian Teng shared on Yammer. "These Pinus torreyana start by sending a root into the soil. And then the hard part: pushing off the seed coat so they can spread their leave and grow upright."

One Tam partners are making a difference for foothill yellow-legged frogs in Marin, but we need the whole community to help this special species. A new StoryMap* is now available to help visitors protect them while enjoying parks in Marin, especially now during their breeding season. Please share widely! The recent shootings in Atlanta and Boulder remind us that too often we are faced with trauma, acts of terrorism, gun violence, racism, hate crimes, and other tragic events. When faced with these tragic, challenging events, our needs are physical, emotional, and psychological. Claremont EAP is an important resource during difficult times. You and family members in the immediate household can receive free and confidential mental health support for issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, and grief.
