Holiday shopping time is here! Columbia Sportswear Company has once again invited Conservancy employees to shop at their Employee Store! The employee store has brands like Columbia Sportswear, SOREL, Mountain Hardwear, and prAna at 40-60% below retail pricing. This invitation is valid until Dec. 10. Instructions for store access can be found at the link below. Note: Invitations are non-transferable, but staff may bring up to 4 additional guests. Employee pricing is only available in the Employee Store, but kiosks are available on the sales floor to order items online at the employee pricing.

November 29: Hantavirus Awareness
9 - 10 am. Bldg. 1050, Marin Headlands. Hosted by the NPS. This class will cover the basics of hantavirus, including how to properly clean up rodent droppings and dead rodents, proper trap placement, and how to set a trap. Nov 29 or 30: FY2018 Budget and Forecast
10 am - 2:30 pm. Fort Mason. With the new fiscal year, the Conservancy is moving into a true rolling forecast model that will require all departments to participate in quarterly variance analysis and reforecasting activities. To insure the success of everyone, our Accounting & Finance Department will be offering a budget and forecast training to equip you with the tools and information needed to support full participation. This training is intended for employees responsible for managing the budgets of their departments/divisions. Please check with your supervisor to confirm if you need to attend the training. Educators and scientists are invited to come learn about current research on extreme climate and weather events in the region like droughts, heatwaves, and flooding.
