The NPS' Health & Safety Week will begin March 19! To provide a Health & Safety Week that best fits the needs of NPS/Conservancy employees, please complete the following survey by Jan. 12. Data is a powerful tool for any program manager looking to enhance the quality and scale of their work. Come to this mixer and connect with other park staff while learning how the data you share on the Online Portal can help you do amazing things for your programs!

1 - 4 pm. Highly recommended for all managers who supervise staff. Do you ever find yourselves getting tangled up in the confusing administrative details of being a manager? Through our workshop, you can: gain insights into the administrative functions required by your job and get the tools to command them; align your efforts w/ HR in Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Benefits administration; learn to address disciplinary actions and grievances in a manner that is legally compliant and consistent with agency policies; demystify our Compensation system, Leaves of Absence and more. January 17 & 18: Wilderness First Aid
8:30 am - 5:30 pm. This hands-on Wilderness First Aid training is designed to meet the needs of trip leaders, camp staff, outdoor enthusiasts and individuals working in remote locations. It will introduce you to caring for people who become ill or injured far from definitive medical care. Classroom lectures and demonstrations are combined with realistic scenarios that will challenge you to integrate your learning. Learning takes place both in the classroom and in outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions. You must sign-up for both days of the training to become certified. Sign up for Day 1 and Day 2.
