The Web Team needs help compiling info on popular hikes for the Parks Conservancy's new website. Please add your favorite hikes, including all the trails involved along the way, to our spreadsheet. If you know more about the hike (elevation, difficulty, length, etc.), feel free to drop that info in, too. Send any photos you may have of your favorite hike to rwhite@parksconservancy.org. 1- 2:45 pm. John Muir Elementary School. We hope you will join us for the VoiceOver TV show premiere and celebration. For the past four months, 5th grade students have explored indicators of a healthy community in the Mission, Fillmore, and Presidio. They used these firsthand experiences to help write research-based opinion essays that became the starting point for photography, stop-motion animation, music video, and cooking projects. They are excited to share their projects with you as their TV show premieres on channel 76!

9:30 am - 2:30 pm. Lands End. Enjoy your national park with "feel-good vibes." Come dressed in your best island-inspired attire and enjoy a day filled with uplifting volunteer work, island jamz, delicious BBQ, and thirst-quenching libations! Noon - 3 pm. Fort Baker. Join GOGA's Health & Wellness Committee for their 13th Annual Fun Run/Walk! This year the theme is Baseball, and costumes/sports gear is encouraged. 10:30 am - 7 pm. Volunteer with the One Tam Roving Ranger at the Marin County Fair! In addition to meeting your fellow colleagues and sharing the magic of One Tam with the public, you will also receive free admission to the fair! First time talking about One Tam? 8 am - noon. Alcatraz. People are all abuzz about native bees these days! Join Alcatraz volunteer waterbird docent, Ros Johnson, as she discusses her bee observations and collections on Alcatraz over the last year. Although her expertise is in identifying Florida bees, she's brought her passion for the subject and skills to California.
