This is your annual opportunity in ADP to make changes or add/delete dependents to your medical, dental, and vision plans for an effective date of July 1, 2018. The job description for the Parks Conservancy's next President & CEO has been released. To create the description, search firm Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA) used feedback from the staff-wide survey and interviews with park partners, community partners, volunteers, donors, board members, the Conservancy’s Directors Group, the DEI Committee, and Executive Team. The results are in! Thank you to everyone who participated in the Earth Month Staff Challenge this April. We had 84 individuals between NPS and the Parks Conservancy submit 281 different actions! See who won and what actions toward sustainability your colleagues took below.

Park Academy will be hosting an Adult First Aid/CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens certification course. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. The Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure. Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year. This certification training is 7 hours long (from 9 am-4 pm). A talk by Sharon Farrell (Vice President, Stewardship & Conservation) will cover the genesis and evolution of the Presidio Park Stewards program from 1993 to 2003. Come learn about early restoration projects, the nursery program changes overtime, and the challenges faced during the initial years with stories from the field.
