10 am - 2 pm. Fort Baker. Join an incredible group of women as we work together to create positive impact to the trail systems of our National Parks. This will be an all-women’s trail event open to all self-identifying women, gender expansive, and non-binary folks ages 12 & up, led by the lady trail builders of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and supported by REI. The crew will be at Fort Baker installing post and cable fencing near the Bay Area Discovery Museum to keep people safe and off the road. Raffle prizes and snacks provided!

10:30 am - 7 pm. Volunteer with the One Tam Roving Ranger at the Marin County Fair! In addition to meeting your fellow colleagues and sharing the magic of One Tam with the public, you will also receive free admission to the fair! First time talking about One Tam? A talk by Sharon Farrell (Vice President, Stewardship & Conservation) will cover the genesis and evolution of the Presidio Park Stewards program from 1993 to 2003. Come learn about early restoration projects, the nursery program changes overtime, and the challenges faced during the initial years with stories from the field.
