Wellness Committee: Looking for New Members!
The Wellness Committee is looking for new members! We welcome any staff members who are interested in health and wellness. The group meets once a month. Email Holly Chrobak at hchrobak@parksconservancy.org if you are interested. Please know this is a working group, and your participation in wellness activities will be needed.

Support middle school program participants as they pitch pizza business ideas that focus on positively impacting the social and physical health of communities, while minimizing environmental impact. Visit the teams' pop up restaurants in the backyard, sample delicious wood-fired pizza, and score their pizza businesses. Please plan to arrive on time and stay for the duration of the event. August 7: I-YEL's Yel Out Event
5:30 - 7:30 pm. Crissy Field Center. For the last seven months, eighteen high school interns have been working together to learn leadership skills in a national park. Come celebrate the Inspiring Young Emerging Leader’s program end and hear about the impact the I-YEL program has had on each youth! Did you know there are free webinars and information available through Claremont EAP to help support you and your family members life's concerns, outdoor activities, and wellness? Featured this month is "Take A Hike - Safely." Common injuries for hikers are sprains, straings, scrapes or bruises. You can avoid most injuries if you wear proper footwear and try not to overdo it.
