We will be offering wellness seminars from the Claremont Employee Assistance Program every month. Seminars are open to any interested staff and cover topics such as how to prioritize, adapting to change, and mindfulness. They will be held at the Building 102 Conference Room at Fort Mason. Crissy Field Next aims to enhance the area’s many current uses while improving ways for people to gather, create, and play. In the meantime, we would like to invite feedback from staff who currently use this resource. Please fill out the short questionnaire to obtain the updated SmugMug password. November 6: Save the Date - Diversity Makes Us Stronger Week
Save the Date! NPS will kick off its annual Diversity Makes Us Stronger week at 1 pm on Tues., Nov. 6., at the General’s Residence. The week will be an opportunity for NPS and Conservancy staff to come together and learn about untold stories and issues impacting marginalized communities. All staff are welcomed and encouraged to attend as their schedule allows. Stay tuned for information on sessions, locations, and times.

10 am - 2 pm. Fort Mason. Parking Lot near Building 101. The Environmental and Safety Programs Office and Conservation Corps North Bay are hosting an e-waste drive on Oct. 18, rain or shine! 5 - 6:45 pm. Presidio Officers' Club, 50 Moraga Ave. Meet the teams imagining a campus for change at the Presidio's Fort Windfield Scott. Join the Presidio Trust for a public board meeting and open house where you can share your ideas. This is your best chance to make your voice heard before proposals are due! If you can't make the meeting, email ideas and comments to fortscott@presidiotrust.gov by Nov. 16.

8:30 am - 1 pm. The last Park Day of 2018 will be at the Presidio Nursery. Participants will collect seeds, "pot up" mature trees, create a new storage system, and prep "seed increase" beds. Do you want to invest but don't know where to get started? This webinar will help you to understand what investing is, cover the building blocks of investing, and provide insights that help you determine which investing strategies are right for you. Gain insight into developing and refining effective skills such as performance management, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, operations, and much more.
