Parks Conservancy CFO J. Mark Jenkins was recently awarded "CFO of the Year" by accounting and business consulting firm Armanino. Awards are given annually to CFOs who are transforming their organizations through innovation and influence. Click the link to view video.

We will be offering wellness sessions from the Claremont Employee Assistance Program every month. Sessions are open to any interested staff and cover topics such as how to prioritize, adapting to change, and mindfulness. They will be held at the Building 102 Conference Room at Fort Mason. For Conservancy SmugMug Users: We will be moving our web-based photo collection to a new platform in the next few months. In the meantime, we would like to invite feedback from staff who currently use this resource. Please fill out the short questionnaire to obtain the updated SmugMug password. 8:30 am - 1 pm. The last Park Day is this Thursday and will be at the Presidio Nursery. Participants will collect seeds, "pot up" mature trees, create a new storage system, and prep "seed increase" beds. Remember to wear comfortable clothing/shoes and we look forward to seeing you soon! The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committees from the Parks Conservancy and the Park Youth Collaborative are joining forces for our fall film series! Challenge your perspective and explore new worldviews through film. Join your colleagues for snacks, community and conversation after each DEI related film.

Prior experience with habitat restoration not necessary, just bring your enthusiasm for an afternoon of habitat restoration, fun activities, and delicious traditional snacks. Please register below.

1 pm - 3 pm. General's Residence, Fort Mason. NPS will kick off its annual Diversity Makes Us Stronger week! This year's theme is Untold Stories. It will be an opportunity for NPS and Conservancy staff to come together and learn about untold stories and issues impacting marginalized communities. October 23: Wellness Session
9 - 10 am. Fort Mason, Building 102, conference room. Please join this morning seminar on "Creating a Positive Attitude." Positive is a choice. This session offers tips to make the choice toward success. Light breakfast treats and coffee will be provided. Please RSVP to HChrobak@parksconservancy.org by 10/21.

1:30 pm - 3 pm. This training covers how to access, navigate, and enter volunteer data into Hand-On Connect (HOC). Attendees will receive HOC accounts at the training, allowing them to access the system and enter data for their volunteer programs. This training is intended for new interns and staff who need access to HOC or those who would like a refresher on the system. Some laptops will be provided for the training, but bringing a laptop (if available) is encouraged. Only 1 spot left! Please register below.
