Since 2001, the Crissy Field Center has focused on using the national parks as a platform for increasing equity and access to educational opportunities, leadership development and recreation in the outdoors serving young people, their families, and youth-serving adults. Most programs are customized and co-designed alongside participants and group leaders. Check out our report to learn more about our programs!

The Parks Conservancy DEI Committee is offering four scholarships for staff to attend the People of the Global Majority in Outdoors, Nature and Environment (PGM ONE) summit. The summit–held May 8 -10 in Philadelphia, PA–convenes emerging and established professionals of color who work in the environmental and outdoor movement. Learn more at www.pgmone.org. This April the GGNRA and Conservancy Green Team is challenging all staff to engage in more sustainable practices at work. Just as the April Wellness Challenge is promoting wellness for park employees, the Green Team hopes you'll support the wellness of the planet at the same time. April 17 & 18. Building 989, Presidio. NPS and Conservancy Employees are invited to join the NPS's Allies for Inclusion Dialogue Series. The series includes four facilitated conversations around issues of relevancy, diversity, and inclusion and how they relate to the park system as a whole and Bay Area Parks specifically. Did you know there are free webinars available through Claremont EAP to help support you and your family members with life's concerns? This month's feature is learning how to approach clearing clutter and staying organized! Living with clutter can be exhausting and approaching it even more daunting. This webinar will offer specific, strategic ways to approach this task. Note: You will have to log-in to view the webinar and ask questions.

For interns only: This boot camp is to assist interns in their next career steps! Come get a tutorial of tips on how to fill out federal applications, develop your resume and cover letters, create a LinkedIn profile, and how to leverage a professional network! This workshop focuses on developing inclusive communication techniques for professionals that perform or educate about ecological restoration.In this workshop we will describe restoration work, and come up with improved ways to use language in our jobs, out in the field, and with the public.
